Don't most events in our lives happen by chance? I hope to share with you the chance observations and experiences of my travels. And I offer a chance for you to comment as well. Add to that my fond affection for my late cat, Chance, who was afflicted with feline leukemia and died of cancer, and you will see why "chance" has a special meaning in my life. By chance, the adventure continues and can be shared...
This is our little Wednesday as she appeared a year ago… she's all grown up now, but just as naughty as ever and eager to wish everyone a Happy Halloween -- and to encourage people to adopt black cats!!
What better treat than pizza? Love this box top!
And just a few shots to remind you to have a happy Halloween! May it be filled with great treats … and no evil creatures of any kind!
October is my favorite month, and what better time to travel up through New York to that great state of Vermont? We usually try to get there after the leaves have faded in order to avoid the crowds, but the leaves were a bit later this year -- and still no crowds! A big win.
First a short stop in New York near Lake George, and a chance to snap a few shots at the Magic Forest. It was closed for the season, but we still grabbed a few photos from the parking lot.
And then a short stop at Skene Manor, another of our favorites, in Whitehall, New York.
