Farewell 2014!!

Just sitting here with the kitties, waiting out the last few hours of 2014.
It was an amazing year in so many ways.
Yes, there were the disappointments, the people who tried their utmost through their evil ways to disrupt and destroy -- but I'm happy to say that, for the most part, they were thwarted.  I wish them a double helping of karma in the new year.
But the blessings of family and friends sparkled so brightly in 2014 that the dark hearts never had a chance! Kind of like the photo above, snapped in New York City earlier this month!
I hope the year has been a great one for all of you; that you were able to overcome the problems that plague us all; and that you are looking forward to the new year as one filled with opportunities.
Stay healthy, stay positive, ignore the haters.
They aren't worth your time.
Remember: stay calm and sparkle on! I know that mantra helped many people this year who are close to me.
May all who are good sparkle even brighter in 2015! As for the others… forget about them!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

(and don't forget those important naps!)

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

It's been an extremely busy year -- and in an upcoming blog I'll give an explanation for part of that. But I have been remiss in posting, which I plan to remedy in 2015 as one of my resolutions.

Until then, here are a few glimpses of the holiday season at the Breaux residence.
I hope your holidays were blessed and peaceful!

Is Wotsit waiting for Santa??

Here he is!

This guy's not Santa, but...

I absolutely LOVE Robert Drake and his annual "The Night Before" 24-hour radio broadcast on WXPN, 88.5. This is just a screen shot from his webcam. If you haven't tuned in, be sure to catch it next Dec. 24!
