Don't most events in our lives happen by chance? I hope to share with you the chance observations and experiences of my travels. And I offer a chance for you to comment as well. Add to that my fond affection for my late cat, Chance, who was afflicted with feline leukemia and died of cancer, and you will see why "chance" has a special meaning in my life. By chance, the adventure continues and can be shared...

Happy Halloween!!
This is our little Wednesday as she appeared a year ago… she's all grown up now, but just as naughty as ever and eager to wish everyone a Happy Halloween -- and to encourage people to adopt black cats!!
What better treat than pizza? Love this box top!
And just a few shots to remind you to have a happy Halloween! May it be filled with great treats … and no evil creatures of any kind!

Happy Halloween!
This is a great holiday -- but the changes in recent years make me long for the "old days."
I remember when you carved some pumpkins, pulled your costume together from old stuff in the attic, grabbed an ancient mask and made the rounds for a bit of candy. If you were lucky enough to go to a Halloween party, so much the better.
I still love to get out the vintage decorations and watch a few old flicks.
And of course there's some great music.
But now Halloween is getting so commercial. Soon it will be as bad as Christmas!
Yep, I'm an old fogey… but enjoy these scenes of Halloween!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!
OK, so we got quite the trick this weekend.
It's still autumn, it's Halloween -- we should not have had snow!
But let's shrug it off and hope it's not a forecast of a tough winter to come!
In the meantime, Happy Halloween!

attack of the jacks!

If you missed heading to Gwynedd-Mercy College on Saturday, you missed a terrific Halloween display!
Here are just a few of the 300 craftily carved pumpkins that lit up the night.
It made for a great prelude to Halloween and benefited a good cause.
Absolutely worth the trip!
