Get outside!

I feel sorry for anyone who did not take advantage of this gorgeous weekend by enjoying the outdoors. The weather was breathtaking and nature is just outdoing herself.
I can't believe that so many people -- including so many teens -- prefer to sit inside, glued to the TV, their video games or other social media devices.
Some of the blame has to be put on their parents, but hey, they're also old enough to get off their butts and just drink in the beauty and aromas of autumn!

The Perkiomen Trail was among the places to be!

Don't miss this awesome season -- hit the trail!

Summer swings in

The first day of summer is here! And it's a beautiful day indeed.
Yes, it's that great day of the year when we enjoy the most sunlight.
Of course, as one of my friends reminds me, it also means that now we start losing that daylight, bit by bit.
No worries... just enjoy the summer, and all that it brings.
Here are a few photos to get you started...

Of course, all the thoughts of a busy summer may just wear you out. That's why Grim and Disaster advise taking plenty of naps...

HAPPY SUMMER!!

To everything, there is a season...

I like to have actual seasons. I like it to be cold in winter, neither hot nor cold in spring, warm in summer and then brisk in autumn.
This year, as we all know, has been weird, to put it lightly. Winter at Halloween (snow). Not much to talk about as far as winter goes. Now it seems like we're skipping spring. Does this mean it will be hotter than hades this summer?
I shudder to think.
But since it's so warm, we may as well take a moment to enjoy the flowers....
Enjoy....
