Rain at last!

We really need a full day of gentle rain, but at least it was good to finally get a few gulps!
The leaf photo was taken Tuesday morning after the storms; the clouds from Monday night speak for themselves....

HOT day!

In the midst of all the heat being generated by the political conventions -- and the actual hot weather -- we may not be too motivated to get outdoors.
But a quick walk through the garden always lifts my spirits.

Great summer day...

Spent a great day at Knoebels amusement park near Elysburg this past week. Lots of fun, amusement rides, food and just relaxing.

We had a great time, but our hearts go out to the family whose young son died in a tragic accident in the park's Crystal Pool.
